Hey, is it snowing outside?

I had fun a work today.
It's been a while.

I was outside all day. Another photographer, Justin, and a weather guy, Barak, did live hits from about 3 until 10. My reporter for the day, Emily and I shot some interviews and met up with them for two hits in the 5-6 hour, then again for cut-ins at 7, 8, and three hits in the 9.

It sounds terrible... Heaps of live hits,



outside in the wind, sleet, snow, and cold all day...



But we made it fun...







The four of us spent our time in and out of the live truck. We were well prepared and had a number of snacks. And the hotel across the street gave us coffee... it was like a little tea party in the truck.



You can take the sex offender stories, the robberies, the homicides, the home invastions... I'll take heavy snow coverage anyday.
